Anti-Vibration Teak Wood Interlocking Stage Flooring

Product Overview

Anti-Vibration Teak Wood Interlocking Stage Flooring is used for stage areas where superior stability, acoustic support, vibration control, durability, and premium wooden finish are required.

The system uses second-class teak wood planks with interlocking tongue and groove joints, fixed over 19 mm thick BWR grade plywood and a hardwood batten framework. The framework is resiliently supported on anti-vibration rubber pads and filled with insulation wool to improve acoustic and thermal performance.

This flooring system provides a strong, level, and durable stage surface suitable for performances, stage equipment, and high-traffic usage.

Purpose

The purpose of this flooring system is to provide a stable, long-lasting, and vibration-controlled stage surface.

It helps in:

  • Allowing integration of stage junction boxes where required

Installation Layer / Actual Process

1. Base Surface

The work starts from the approved stage floor base. Levels, layout, junction box locations, and flooring direction are marked as per architectural drawings and EIC instructions.

2. Anti-Vibration Rubber Pads

Hardwood framework is resiliently supported on anti-vibration rubber pads to reduce vibration and improve stage stability.

  • Rubber pad size: 12 mm thick x 100 mm width x 100 mm length
  • Specific gravity: 1.60 g/cm³ ±0.05
  • Hardness: 70 ±5 Shore A
  • Tensile strength: 30 kg/cm² minimum
  • Elongation: 250% minimum

3. Hardwood Framework

Hardwood joists and battens are fixed in both directions to create an interlocked support frame.

  • Hardwood joist size: 62 mm x 62 mm
  • Hardwood batten size: 62 mm x 62 mm
  • Spacing: 600 mm c/c in both directions

4. Insulation Wool Filling

The framework cavity is filled with resin bonded insulation wool for acoustic and thermal support.

  • Insulation thickness: 50 mm
  • Density: 24 kg/m³

5. BWR Plywood Layer

19 mm thick BWR grade plywood is fixed over the hardwood framework to provide a strong and moisture-resistant base layer.

6. Teak Wood Flooring

Teak wood planks are fixed over the plywood layer using interlocking tongue and groove joints.

  • Wood type: Second-class teak wood
  • Plank width: 75 mm to 90 mm
  • Plank thickness: 18 mm to 20 mm
  • Length: Random length
  • Joint type: Interlocking tongue and groove
