Anti-Vibration Teak Wood Interlocking Stage Flooring is a durable stage flooring system designed for stability, vibration control, acoustic support, and long service life. The system uses teak wood tongue and groove planks fixed over 19 mm BWR plywood, supported by a hardwood joist and batten framework with anti-vibration rubber pads.
The framework is filled with 50 mm resin bonded insulation wool to support acoustic and thermal performance. The exposed teak wood surface is finished with PU polish or transparent lacquer, with provision for microphone, power, signal, and pop-up stage boxes as per approved drawings and EIC instructions.

Anti-Vibration Teak Wood Interlocking Stage Flooring is used for stage areas where superior stability, acoustic support, vibration control, durability, and premium wooden finish are required.
The system uses second-class teak wood planks with interlocking tongue and groove joints, fixed over 19 mm thick BWR grade plywood and a hardwood batten framework. The framework is resiliently supported on anti-vibration rubber pads and filled with insulation wool to improve acoustic and thermal performance.
This flooring system provides a strong, level, and durable stage surface suitable for performances, stage equipment, and high-traffic usage.
The purpose of this flooring system is to provide a stable, long-lasting, and vibration-controlled stage surface.
It helps in:
The work starts from the approved stage floor base. Levels, layout, junction box locations, and flooring direction are marked as per architectural drawings and EIC instructions.
Hardwood framework is resiliently supported on anti-vibration rubber pads to reduce vibration and improve stage stability.
Hardwood joists and battens are fixed in both directions to create an interlocked support frame.
The framework cavity is filled with resin bonded insulation wool for acoustic and thermal support.
19 mm thick BWR grade plywood is fixed over the hardwood framework to provide a strong and moisture-resistant base layer.
Teak wood planks are fixed over the plywood layer using interlocking tongue and groove joints.
Additional framework shall be provided where required for microphone outlets, power outlets, signal boxes, and pop-up stage boxes. Hinged 18 mm thick teak wood covers shall be provided for junction boxes where required.
The exposed teak wood surface shall be finished with PU polishing / transparent lacquer. Special varnish, paint, or custom finish may be provided as per approved design requirement.
The scope includes providing and fixing of anti-vibration teak wood interlocking stage flooring complete with termite-resistant / BWR plywood base, hardwood framework, anti-vibration rubber pads, insulation wool, finishing, transportation, installation, and necessary hardware.
The work includes layout marking, level setting, rubber pad placement, hardwood joist and batten framework, insulation wool filling, plywood fixing, teak wood plank installation, junction box provision where required, PU polishing / lacquer finishing, final checking, and cleaning.
All tools, tackles, machinery, manpower, consumables, hardware, fasteners, staging, and installation accessories shall be included. Work shall be executed as per approved architectural drawings, site conditions, and Engineer-in-Charge / Project Officer instructions.
