Description
Rockwool Building Rolls are premium insulation products made from stone fibers, which are processed from molten rock into a fibrous form and bonded with a thermosetting resin. This composition creates a material that is both lightweight and resilient, providing uniform thermal and acoustic insulation. The fine distribution of stone wool fibers enhances heat and sound resistance, making the rolls suitable for various insulation needs. With a stable fiber structure, these rolls are fire-rated (Class O) and can withstand high service temperatures, providing robust performance in demanding environments. Available in densities of 48-64 kg/m³ and thicknesses from 50mm to 100mm, they come in lengths of 5-10 meters and widths of 1-1.2 meters, with facing options such as unfaced, aluminum foil (FSK), or kraft paper. The rolls can endure temperatures up to 750°C for the fiber and 100°C for the facing, delivering reliable performance and effective sound insulation with a high Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC).
