formed into various three-dimensional shapes. The polyester fibers are thermally bonded, which
results in a material that is both strong and acoustically efficient. The 3D Acoustic Panels function
primarily by absorbing sound waves, particularly at mid to high frequencies. As sound waves
encounter the panel, they are diffused and absorbed into the material’s porous structure,
preventing them from bouncing back into the room. The cavity on the back of the panel increases
its efficiency by trapping and absorbing sound in the airspace, making these panels excellent at
addressing both high-frequency and wide-band noise.
